One of the top comedy club nights in the country, The Comedy Network, returns to the Town Hall this autumn.
Each event will feature an MC, opening act and headliner for the bargain price of just £10.
Headliner – Joe Kent-Walters
Joe Kent-Walters is a multi-award winning comedian and actor from Huddersfield. He has been delighting audiences up and down the country with his idiosyncratic style of outrageous character comedy, most notably with his comic creation Frankie Monroe.
His “mesmerising and unpredictable presence” (Chortle) performing as Frankie saw him win the 2023 BBC New Comedy Award after a “barn storming” (Ibid) set at Glasgow’s Kings Theatre. He followed this by winning the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Joe is now in development with the BBC and is one of Jiksaw’s 2024 ‘Faces of Comedy’

Chelsea regularly performs her smart, silly and open-hearted stand-up at the UK’s top comedy clubs and has been invited to perform in New York and Paris. She was a finalist and runner-up in several prestigious comedy competitions. She was tour support for Helen Bauer and Fern Brady.
She can be seen on BBC, heard on Radio 4, 5Live, Times Radio and various podcasts. She has written for several series of BBC’s Mock The Week and for BBC Radio 4. Her writing has been featured in The Independent and the Metro.
MC – Ben Van der Velde
Ben Van der Velde is a stand-up comedian, actor, improviser and presenter. Over the past few years, has spread joy and nonsense to all four corners of the British Isles, as well as Greece, Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Norway.

Outside the circuit, Ben has performed a voodoo re-marriage ceremony, founded the Church of the Holy Kazoo with comedy legend Mark Thomas, and walked the entire London Underground network to raise money for The Refugee Council.
