LINEUP SUBJECT TO CHANGE (ticket holders will be contacted in the event of a change to headliner)

One of the top comedy club nights in the country, The Comedy Network, returns to Selby in 2023.

Each event will feature an MC, opening act and headliner for the bargain introductory price of just £10.

Headliner – Micky P Kerr (Micky is a replacement for the originally advertised headliner Nathan Caton who is unwell)

Tour support for Lucy Beaumont and Britain’s Got Talent finalist

Fusing together music, spoken word and comedy, with his tongue often planted firmly in his cheek, Kerr has been described as “the bastard spawn of John Cooper Clarke”.

Already a familiar face on the live music circuit, Micky turned his hand to stand-up comedy in 2013 and quickly became “one to watch”. In 2018 Micky entered Britain’s Got Talent, where he proved to be a massive hit with both the public and the judges, making it all the way to the final, which was watched by almost 11 million people.

2017 saw Micky take his debut solo show, ‘Micky P Kerr is Lay-Z’ to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He returned in 2019 with ‘Z List Celebrity’, which then went on to tour the UK. Both shows received rave reviews.

At the end of 2018, life-long Leeds Utd fan Micky wrote a ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ parody entitled ‘Bielsa Rhapsody’, a tribute to the Argentinan Leeds United manager. It immediately went viral after it was picked up by SportsBible, gaining over 5 million hits. The song was released at Christmas as a charity single in aid of the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and it reached No 5 in the itunes chart!

Micky now performs, for all the top clubs around the UK and is a firm favourite at music festivals.

“This show is what the Fringe is all about” ★★★★ Three Weeks
“Vastly hardworking and naturally humorous” ★★★★ Edinburgh Festivals
“I absolutely love you, you are hilarious!” David Walliams

Opener – Tom Lawrinson

Mancunian stand up Tom Lawrinson has racked up over 100 million views on TikTok and Instagram. He’s A BBC New Comedy Award finalist and two-time Beat The Frog finalist. He is also a fan of Greek mythology, gossip with the lasses and eating donuts with the lads.

“Has a lot going for him…he sidesteps the obvious and his jokes about sexism are worth a trip to see him alone” – Chortle
“An insightful and funny gentleman, cleverly turning stock gags on their head to reflect a ‘woke’ view of a world that has slept in for too long” – The Skinny
“A creative mind full of weird, wonderful and completely unexpected punchlines. So much so that he leaves tears running down the faces of the audience” – Lyte

MC – Pete Selwood (replacement for originally advertised MC, Jessie Nixon)

Pete is becoming a very familiar face on the UK comedy circuit, performing for clubs such as Glee, Last Laugh, Alexanders & Laughter house. Alongside that Pete is regularly providing tour support for Jack Carroll and has also starred in a BBC3 Sketch alongside jack entitled ‘Disable In Da Club’.

He has appeared on Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central), two seasons of The Emily Atack Show (ITV2), The Likely Dads (BBC Radio 4) and a small role in Shane Meadows ‘Gallows Pole’
