Provided the event has not sold out, tickets are available to buy on the door.
For most events it is cheaper to purchase tickets in advance.
If you make purchases of two, three or four shows in a single transaction, these are rewarded with percentage discounts on a sliding scale, increasing with each show added to your order.
This replaces our long running ‘buy three shows, get a fourth free’ offer and works for all purchases, whether they are made online, in person or over the phone.

We do not charge a booking fee for tickets purchased over the phone or in person.
Tickets bought online will incur a booking fee of 90p per ticket. This money covers the cost of processing the payment.
The Town Hall is a small venue (up to 140 capacity) situated in a former Methodist chapel. It is fully seated. About two thirds of the seats are on the ground floor (what purpose built venues would describe as stalls) with the remainder located on the balcony. The central bank of seats on the ground floor are tiered with some flat floor rows at the front and to the sides. Stairs to the balcony are fairly narrow and steep. Balcony seats face the stage front on, arranged in a gentle semi-circle – there are no seats with side views.
Our chairs are upholstered with shallow cushioning. The seat is 44cm wide with a 46cm backrest. In the central tiered section, seats are 7cm apart with 40cm of leg room. The maximum loading of the chairs is 134kg / 21 stone.
If these are not suitable, there are chairs located to the left and right (on flat floor) where it is possible to increase both leg room and the gap between seats. If you have particular requirements relating to the space around chairs we would be happy to reserve one which meets your needs, or discuss options for using a different style of chair. Please call 01757 708449 or email access@selbytownhall.co.uk.
The Town Hall is a licensed venue and operates a bottle bar serving a small selection of lagers, locally brewed ales, wines and soft drinks. No food or snacks are sold on the premises.
