Each show features a headliner, opening act and MC for the unbeatable price of £10. Age 16+
HEADLINER – PETER BRUSH
A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.
Peter performs at all major clubs across the UK, and many of it’s biggest festivals. A formerly BBC New Comedy Award finalist, he has written for several Radio 4 shows and has provided tour support for Alexei Sayle, Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Fern Brady, and Paul Sinha.
‘Compellingly hilarious… first-class gag writing… an original and achingly funny voice’ – Chortle
‘I love Peter Brush, what a comic’ – Jason Manford
Bradford-born and with a childhood split between Pakistan and Yorkshire, Isma’s comedy is fused by her unique take on life as a British Muslim woman.
Isma is a regular on the comedy circuit across the UK, and has performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, at London’s Barbican Centre for Stonewall, at Bradford’s Literature Festival and on a raucous luxury gay cruise around the Med.
As well as winning The First Laugh at Sheffield Comedy Festival, Isma was a semi-finalist in So You Think You’re Funny and made it to the final of Funny Women. She spent six months co-presenting the mid-morning show on BBC Radio Leeds, where she interviewed a number of famous names.
A much-needed voice in comedy today, audiences love Isma’s friendly, Bradford-infused, preconception-shattering style. Isma is a regular face on the BBC Asian Network and has appeared on Richard Herring’s Leicester Sq Podcast, Drunk Women Solving Crime, Happy Mummy, Happy Baby and more.
MC – ANDREW O’NEILL
Andrew O’Neill is an award-winning comedian, musician and best-selling writer. A psychedelic non-binary whirlwind, they combine surrealism, polemic and good old-fashioned stagecraft to produce uniquely counter-cultural stand-up.
They have acted opposite John Hamm and David Tennant in Good Omens, Steve Coogan in Saxondale and Tom Burke and Ellie Bamber in Alan Moore’s film The Show.
“Intelligent, very funny and occasionally extremely odd material” – Chortle
