One of the top comedy club nights in the country, The Comedy Network, returns to the Town Hall in 2025.
Each event will feature an MC, opening act and headliner for the bargain price of just £10.
HEADLINER – LAUREN PATTISON
Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee 2017 and Best Show Nominee 2022, Lauren is a comedian, actor and writer.
In 2017, Lauren sold out her debut run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her critically acclaimed show Lady Muck. On top of her Best Newcomer nomination, Lauren won the prestigious Herald Angel Award and was nominated for Amused Moose Best Comedy Show. The 5-star show was the best-reviewed show at The Pleasance that year and was so popular that she added three extra sold-out shows. The success of the show saw it go on to a six-night sold-out run at London’s Soho Theatre, as well as runs at the Perth and Adelaide Fringe in Australia and the Auckland Comedy Festival in New Zealand.
In 2022, Lauren was once again nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, this time for the prestigious main award for her critically acclaimed show, It Is What It Is. Post Edinburgh, the show toured the UK, including a 4 night run at Soho Theatre, before making its way to the other side of the world with a month long run at Perth Fringe.
A sought after live act, Lauren is a regular at all the major national comedy clubs and has provided tour support for Katherine Ryan, Jason Manford, Kerry Godliman, Stewart Francis and Dane Baptiste, as well as gracing the comedy stages of Latitude and Reading and Leeds Festivals.
Her TV appearances include Stand up for Live Comedy (BBC1, ) two episodes of Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), hosting an episode of Takeshi’s Castle (Comedy Central), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), The Great Christmas Rant (ITV2), The Blame Game (BBC One Northern Ireland) and internationally on New Zealand’s 7 Days (TV3), Australia’s Comedy Up Late (ABC) and Canada’s The Stand Up Show with Katherine Ryan (The Comedy Network Canada). As an actor her credits include Drunk History (Comedy Central), Jerk (BBC3) and Climaxed (BBC3).
Siân Davies is an award winning comedian from Liverpool who performs across the UK. She effortlessly combines razor sharp wit with true life stories to enthral and entertain audiences.
Sian won the Edinburgh Comedy Award Panel Prize for Best in Class in 2022, the award for Best Debut Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2020, was runner up in the Funny Women Stage Award in 2019 and winner of Hilarity Bites Best New Act in 2018. She is the driving force behind sell out fringe phenomenon’s Best in Class and Comedy Queers.
Siân’s 2023 show, This Charming Man, was produced by Impatient, directed by Elf Lyons and supported by Homotopia. The show received 4 star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was nominated for The Biggest Award in Comedy.

His solo show ‘Grenade’ was a roaring success at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival having achieved a complete sold-out run, alongside a host of 4 & 5 reviews and a best show nomination. Praised for his “Modern observational storytelling at its best” (On The Mic) and “Polished performance, honest observations and relatable material” (Scottish Field)
His online videos have amassed hundreds of millions of views across his social media. His first podcast series, The Staff Room Podcast (where teachers share their anonymous stories from the classroom), was nominated for Best Comedy at The British Podcast Awards.
