HEADLINER – LAUREN PATTISON

Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee 2017 and Best Show Nominee 2022, Lauren is a comedian, actor and writer.

In 2017, Lauren sold out her debut run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her critically acclaimed show Lady Muck. On top of her Best Newcomer nomination, Lauren won the prestigious Herald Angel Award and was nominated for Amused Moose Best Comedy Show. The 5-star show was the best-reviewed show at The Pleasance that year and was so popular that she added three extra sold-out shows. The success of the show saw it go on to a six-night sold-out run at London’s Soho Theatre, as well as runs at the Perth and Adelaide Fringe in Australia and the Auckland Comedy Festival in New Zealand.

In 2022, Lauren was once again nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, this time for the prestigious main award for her critically acclaimed show, It Is What It Is. Post Edinburgh, the show toured the UK, including a 4 night run at Soho Theatre, before making its way to the other side of the world with a month long run at Perth Fringe.

A sought after live act, Lauren is a regular at all the major national comedy clubs and has provided tour support for Katherine Ryan, Jason Manford, Kerry Godliman, Stewart Francis and Dane Baptiste, as well as gracing the comedy stages of Latitude and Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Her TV appearances include Stand up for Live Comedy (BBC1, ) two episodes of Comedy Central at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), hosting an episode of Takeshi’s Castle (Comedy Central), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), The Great Christmas Rant (ITV2), The Blame Game (BBC One Northern Ireland) and internationally on New Zealand’s 7 Days (TV3), Australia’s Comedy Up Late (ABC) and Canada’s The Stand Up Show with Katherine Ryan (The Comedy Network Canada). As an actor her credits include Drunk History (Comedy Central), Jerk (BBC3) and Climaxed (BBC3).

OPENER – JOSEPH EMSLIE

Joseph Emslie is a comedian, writer and actor, hailing from Stratford-Upon-Avon, now residing in South West London.

A regular performer on the London circuit, he is “definitely a name to keep tabs on.” (Bruce Dessau). “Radiating comic innocence and making great play on his schoolboy looks” (Chortle), Joseph’s anecdotal and self-deprecating style of comedy secured him a place in the final of the Amused Moose Comedy’s National New Comic Final Award in 2017, the semi-final of the So You Think You’re Funny 2017 competition, The Laughing Horse New Act Of The Year Final in 2018 and runner up in the Union Jack Radio award at the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2021. In 2022 he made it to the Final of The Musical Comedy Awards.

MC – DEAN COUGHLIN

Dean Coughlin is a multi-award winning, working-class comic from Liverpool, who has quickly established an outstanding reputation for his talent. Dean won Breakthrough Act of The Year, and Best Comedy Podcast at The Northwest Comedy Awards. Since its inception in 2021, his podcast has amassed a following of 160k+ across social media platforms.

Dean is fresh off the back of doing full tour support for Dan Nightingale; his previous tour support spots include Paul Smith, Adam Rowe, Jason Manford, Fin Taylor and Lloyd Griffith.

Dean has a unique and whimsical approach to joke writing that adds working-class charm and diversity to any bill.
