In this high-energy physical comedy, two swimmers go head-to head in the race of a lifetime as the performers bring to life top-level athletes, commentators, coaches, and even a glacier in a splashy display of virtuosic physicality. Featuring cinematic storytelling, audience interaction, and original musical underscoring, The Crawl dives into a world of absurd competition.

Facing off in the competition this year: Mytha, a decorated swimmer from the icy north, and Steve, a plucky underdog from Dead-endton, UK. Mytha trains in ice water and moves glaciers in his spare time. Steve is a beast at bicep curls and never says no to a fan autograph. And don’t discount French favourite Debussy, who may or may not be sitting in the audience right now…

Described as “a masterclass in physical theatre” (Broadway World) and “a tantalising, good-time show which truly gets the heart racing” (Theatre Weekly), The Crawl is a riotous, bubbly show with a heartwarming undercurrent.
